Stephen Ministry is a group of trained caregivers that provides one-on-one support for care-receivers who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives. Stephen ministers think of themselves as the hands and feet of Jesus, listening, praying, and sharing God’s love and words of promise with others.

Care is confidential, free, and can be short or long-term to help participants cope with faith-challenging circumstances such as births, deaths, addictions, illness, job loss, or divorce. Stephen Ministers undergo an application process that involves 50 hours of training and a two-year commitment. Ministers meet together on 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the School Library (Rm. 118), and on an individual basis with care-receivers (usually 1-2 hours per week).
