Blessed Again Resale - This resale shop collects used clothing and household items in good condition. These items are then sold, with the profits going to support the work of A Place of Refuge. Blessed Again Resale is located at 7624 W. Hampton Ave., Milwaukee. Box Tops For Education (PTL - Immanuel Lutheran School) - The Box Tops for Education program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue Christian education for children. Each Box Top coupon is worth 10 cents when redeemed. Box Tops coupons can be found on hundreds of products, such as Betty Crocker muffin mixes, Huggies diapers, and Scott paper towels. The Website also has information about other ways to participate in this program, such as online shopping in the Box Tops Marketplace.
Year-round, Box Tops coupons may be turned in to the Support Room on Sundays, or the yellow bin in the school hallway on weekdays. In addition, Immanuel Lutheran School students may submit Box Tops to their classroom teachers as part of the annual contest to see which grade can collect the most Box Tops. Campbell’s Labels for Education (PTL - Immanuel Lutheran School) - The Campbell’s Labels for Education program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue Christian education for children. Campbell’s product UPCs are collected in the Soup Can container in the Support Room on Sundays, or the yellow bin in the school hallway on weekdays, as well as in each school classroom. The ministry leader submits the UPCs, which are credited as points to the Immanuel account. School faculty then select items from a catalog to be purchased with points. The catalog includes sports equipment, computer software, art supplies, and other tools for the classroom.
Ministers may help with various tasks including: publicizing the program, collecting, sorting, counting, and submitting labels, holding classroom contests, setting up the ice cream party (class prize), working with the principal on catalog selections, or obtaining bonus points (i.e. writing up examples of school service projects which qualify for bonus points). Care and Share Fund - Use your Pick 'n Save Card to donate a portion of your purchases to Immanuel's Care and Share Fund, which provides temporary emergency assistance to those who need it. Go to the Service Desk and fill out a form so that every purchase provides credit to Immanuel; our number, to be recorded on the form, is 355280.
Cartridges For Kids (PTL - Immanuel Lutheran School) - The Cartridges for Kids program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue Christian education for children. Donate recyclable items such as empty inkjet cartridges, empty laser cartridges, used cell phones, laptops (please include power cords), PDAs and Palm Pilots (please include accessories), and iPods (please include accessories) to the Support Room on Sundays, or the yellow bin in the school hallway on weekdays. Golden Guernsey Milk Caps - This program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue Christian education for children. Caps may be turned in to in to the Support Room on Sundays, or the yellow bin in the school hallway on weekdays. Donated caps
(worth 5 cents each) are then counted and mailed to the Golden Guernsey company for reimbursement. A minimum of 2,000 caps (equivalent to $100) is necessary for each mailing. Funds received benefit the Immanuel Lutheran School Art Department. Contact Eric Pankow for more information.
Immanuel Lutheran Auction Committee - The annual Auction provides 3rd source funding to provide equipment and programs for Immanuel Lutheran Church, School and Child Care. The auction is held in February or March. Contact Bob Denkert for more information.
Immanuel Lutheran School Booster Club - The Booster Club runs concessions and fundraisers to benefit the athletic program. Contact Karyn Pahule or Melissa Schwartz for more information.
Kemps Milk Caps (PTL - Immanuel Lutheran School) - The Kemps Milk Caps program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue
Christian education for children. Please save the Kemps Milk Caps. The school gets 5 cents for each milk cap sent in. Deposit them in the yellow bin for milk caps in the Support Room on Sundays, or the yellow bin in the school hallway on weekdays. Contact Ruth Schulze for more information.
Market Day (PTL - Immanuel Lutheran School) - The Market Day program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue Christian
education for children. Market Day offers Immanuel members the opportunity, monthly, of ordering convenient, tasty food, with a portion of the sales proceeds benefiting the school. Contact Lisa Meinholz for more information.
McDonald's Neighbors Receipt Program - By placing your McDonald's receipts in the bottom yellow bin across from the church office, the Day School can earn points toward educational products. Contact Tami Butler for more information.
Parish Funding -- Online shopping; a percentage of each purchase is donated to Immanuel. Contact Brian Jaeger for more information.
SCRIP -- Gift cards; a percentage on each gift card sold is earned by Immanuel. Purchase SCRIP between services at the hallway table near the church office. Contact Trish Sauers for more information.
Thrivent - The Care In Congregations program provides funding support for hands-on service activities and fundraisers that benefit Immanuel's congregation and school The Care Abounds in Communities program provides funding support for hands-on service activities and fundraisers that benefit individuals, families, and qualified not-for-profit organizations other than congregations. Wheeling For Healing - One of Immanuel’s ChristCare groups, led by Carole and Elaine Schmeda, invites the congregation to join them for Wheeling For Healing, an annual bike ride that benefits the Community Memorial Hospital Cancer Treatment Center. The ride usually takes place in August and the route is through Menomonee Falls. Contact Carole or Elaine Schmeda for more information.
